NY Giants and Oakland Raiders score FCL points for assault/battery in different circumstances.

Today is the solar eclipse hope you got some legit solar glasses for viewing. It’s good to take risks sometimes, but don’t gamble with your eyesight!
There have been 2 arrests since the last update. Let’s get into them.

Oakland Raiders CB Sean Smith

-Assault by means of force likely to cause great bodily injury (felony)
-Battery with serious bodily injury (felony)

On August 17, Mr. Smith was charged with 2 felonies, assault and battery stemming from a July 4 incident in Pasadena where he allegedly beat and stomped on the head of his sister’s boyfriend.
The Raiders are aware of the arrest and head coach Jack Del Rio said that his player was defending his sister. Since it was only one alleged victim, I am capping the charges 4+2+1 bonus point for the more than likely, very aggressive but probably warranted anti domestic violence stance. 7 points for the Oakland Raiders.

New York Giants OL Michael Bowie

-Domestic Assault and Battery (Felony)
– Malicious injury or destruction of property less than $1000 (Misdemeanor)

On August 19th, there was a warrant out for the arrest of Mr. Bowie as he was charged with Domestic Violence and 2 counts of destruction of property. The incident is from earlier this summer where he got into an argument with his girlfriend and allegedly grabbed her by the neck and threw her down and also breaking 2 televisions and punching a hole in a wall. According to Tulsa News, it apparently started over finances, but got phyisical when she made a remark about his mother.  The Giants are aware of the arrest  and he did not travel with the team for their preseason game, also they have brought this to the attention of the NFL. 4 points for the felony domestic abuse, 2 points for first property damage and 1 point for 2nd property damage charge. 1 bonus point for the DV charge. 8 points for the New York Giants.
The Jets remain in 1st with 24 points. The Colts are in 2nd with 16 points. The Ravens round out the top 3 with 14 points. The Cowboys remain in 4th place with 14 points due to tiebreaker. The Giants are in 5th place with 11 points. The 49ers are in 6th with 8 points. The Oakland Raiders are on the board in 7th place with 7 points, holding tiebreaker over the Houston Texans who are in 8th place with 7 points,  and they hold tiebreaker over the Packers who are in 9th with also 7 points. The Jaguars are in 10th place with 6 points hold tiebreaker over Seahawks in 11th with also 6 points. The Bears and Broncos are tied for 13th place with 5 points. The Bills are in 14th with 4 points. The Panthers are in 15th with 3 points and hold tiebreaker over Redskins in 16th with 3 also. In 17th place is the Chargers with 2 points, who hold tiebreaker over Cardinals in 18th place. In 19th place is the Chiefs with also 2 points. Rounding out those on the board in 22nd place are the Rams, Steelers, and Vikings, with 1 point apiece. The Fantasy Crime League has only 17 days left. Awesome week on tap- solar eclipse, Mayweather vs McGregor, lots of great TV season finales. Football is almost here. Be sure to get all the latest FCL news right here. Have a great week everyone!

Jaguars are on the board, Cowboys add a point, but lose out on Lucky points.

Well all NFL Training Camps are open. We are getting closer to the end of the fantasy crime off-season. There has been 1 arrest and 1 misdemeanor conviction uncovered since the last update.

The Dallas Cowboys released WR Lucky Whitehead but it was also later confirmed that the police did not arrest him, but rather someone who looked like him and gave all his information. Since he was never charnged, there will be no points awarded. Mr. Whitehead has found work in New York, so for once this season, you could say that the Jets got lucky.

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott
-Speeding (MisdemeanorYes it is)

https://www.dallasnews.com/news/frisco/2017/07/17/cowboys-elliott-appealing-conviction-speeding-100-mph-tollway-frisco?f=r&_ga=2.56618539.1878768639.1500385490-811563037.1491575546

In April 2017, Mr. Elliot was caught speeding in Frisco, TX going 100 in a 70, he plead guilty. Case closed, in fact- I wasn’t aware of said speeding misdemeanor until he appealed it. This was likely due to his investigation of the Dallas club assault (later dropped due to lack of cooperation) and the NFL is wraping up the investigation into him as well. Well, it is a misdemeanor in Texas, so it counts. 1 point for the Cowboys.

Jacksonville Jaguars DL Dante Fowler Jr.

Battery (Misdemeanor)
Criminal Mischief (Misdemeanor)

https://www.si.com/nfl/2017/07/19/jacksonville-jaguars-dante-fowler-arrested

On July 18th, Mr. Fowler was arrested in St. Petersburg, FL after an incident where he allegedly hit another man, broke his glasses, and than threw his groceries into a lake. This was after the victim spoke about Mr. Fowler’s driving. Mr. Fowler was charged with battery and criminal mischief, he bonded out the next day. The Jaguars are aware of the arrest and gathering details. 3 points for battery, 2 points for criminal mischief (crime against property) and 1 bonus point because of the hilarity of this arrest. 6 points for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jets remain in 1st with 24 points. The Colts are in 2nd with 16 points. The Ravens round out the top 3 with 14 points. The Cowboys remain in 4th place with 14 points due to tiebreaker. The 49ers are in 5th with 8 points. The Houston Texans are in 6th place with 7 points, hold tiebreaker over the Packers who are in 7th with 7 points. The Jaguars are in 8th place with 6 points hold tiebreaker over Seahawk in 9th with also 6 points. The Bears and Broncos are tied for 11th place with 5 points. The Bills are in 12th with 4 points. The Panthers and Giants are tied for 14th with 3 points and hold tiebreaker over Redskins in 15th with 3 also. In 16th place is the Chargers with 2 points, who hold tiebreaker over Cardinals in 17th place. In 18th place is the Chiefs with also 2 points. Rounding out those on the board in 21st place are the Rams, Steelers, and Vikings, with 1 point apiece.

Will Kaepernick be signed this week? The Ravens owner has asked for our prayers as they make this extremely tough decision, while your favorite QB’s favorite QB is out with a injury. After carrying the Ravens on his back for the last 9 years, it had to give out sometime, no matter how elite it is. Be sure to get all the latest Fantasy Crime news right here. Take care.

Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers are on the board.

There has been 1 arrest since the last update and 1 arrest I forgot to update last month. Let’s get into them.

Pittsburgh Steelers CB Artie Burns
-Driving on suspended license (Misdemeanor)

Steelers’ Artie Burns arrested for driving on suspended license
http://slaterscoops.com/news/2017/6/30/steelers-first-round-pick-former-canes-star-artie-burns-arrested

On June 29th, Mr. Burns was arrested in Miami Beach after his vehicle was stopped for expired tags. He was driving on a suspended license and was booked and later released. Mr. Burns was a 2016 1st round pick as a former Canes stud and also a world class hurdler. That’s 1 point for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Houston Texans RB D’Onta Foreman

-Possession of Marijuana(Misdemeanor)
-Unlawful possession of a weapon (Misdemeanor)

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000820189/article/donta-foreman-arrested-for-weapon-marijuana-possession

http://www.hookem.com/2017/07/16/former-texas-rb-donta-foreman-arrested-early-sunday/

Mr. Foreman was arrested just after midnight on 7/16, after University of Texas police responded to a call regarding the smell of marijuana coming from 3 cars near a UT dorm. Each of the three cars allegedly had marijuana and 1 of them had a firearm. Mr. Foreman maintains that the marijuana was not his nor did he use any. Also the gun is legally registered/owned by him as well as it was properly stored per Texas law. He was later booked and released. The Texans are aware of the arrest and have no further comment. 3 points for gun charge, 3 points for the hippie lettuce and 1 bonus point for getting busted by his alma’s mater police department. That is 7 points total for the Houston Texans.

The Jets remain in 1st with 24 points. The Colts are in 2nd with 16 points. The Ravens round out the top 3 with 14 points. The Cowboys rise to 4th place with 13 points. The 49ers are in 5th with 8 points. The Houston Texans are in 6th place with 7 points, hold tiebreaker over the Packers who are in 7th with 7 points. Seahawks are in 8th with 6 points. The Bears and Broncos are tied for 10th place with 5 points. The Bills are on the board in 11th with 4 points. The Panthers and Giants are tied for 13th with 3 points and hold tiebreaker over Redskins in 14th with 3 also. In 15th place is the Chargers with 2 points, who hold tiebreaker over Cardinals in 16th place. In 17th place is the Chiefs with also 2 points. Rounding out those on the board in 20th place are the Rams, Steelers, and Vikings, with 1 point apiece. As the off-season winds down, be sure to get the latest Fantasy Crime League information right here. Take care everyone.

Cowboys jump to 4th place with an agg assault. Bills are on the board with a gun charge.

Since the last update, there have been 2 arrests. I have not heard of any NFLers getting their digits blown off, so thats a good thing. Hope you all had a great time celebrating the greatness that is the good ol’ US of A.
Let’s get into the arrests.

Dallas Cowboys LB Damien Wilson
-(2 counts) Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon (Felony)

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000818311/article/cowboys-lb-damien-wilson-arrested-on-assault-charges

Mr. Wilson was arrested on 2 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on July 4th at a Freedom Fest event in Frisco, TX. He allegedly backed his truck into a woman while parking and then flaunted his rifle at a man. He was later released from custody after posting the 20 grand for bail. The Cowboys are aware of the arrest and have no comment. So 4 points each for the aggravated assaults- I am counting them as separate because the truck and the firearm are different. 1 bonus point for the date/location- freedom fest and it’s when we celebrate our independence day! 9 points total for America’s team.

Buffalo Bills DT Adolphus Washington
-Improperly Carrying a Concealed Weapon(Misdemeanor)

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2720907-bills-adolphus-washington-arrested-on-weapons-charge-after-showing-gun-to-cops
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000819117/article/adolphus-washington-arrested-on-weapons-charge?campaign=twitter_atn

On Sunday night, 7/9- Mr. Washington was arrested at a Cincinnati waterpark after he reached for and displayed his firearm in his vehicle right in front of the police. He does have a valid state CCW permit, but he was in violation of it with his alleged actions. He was processed and later released. Mr. Washington is due back in court on July 24. That’s 3 points for the misdemeanor weapons charge and 1 bonus point for the stupidity. 4 for the Bills.

The Jets remain in 1st with 24 points. The Colts are in 2nd with 16 points. The Ravens round out the top 3 with 14 points. The Cowboys rise to 4th place with 13 points. The 49ers are in 5th with 8 points. The Packers are in 6th with 7 points. Seahawks are in 7th with 6 points. The Bears and Broncos are tied for 9th place with 5 points. The Bills are on the board in 10th with 4 points. The Panthers and Giants are tied for 12th with 3 points and hold tiebreaker over Redskins in 13th with 3 also. In 14th place is the Chargers with 2 points, who hold tiebreaker over Cardinals in 15th place. In 16th place is the Chiefs with also 2 points. Rounding out those on the board are the Rams and Vikings, with 1 point apiece. All divisions in the NFL have at least an arrest and the AFC East leads the rest with 28 points. Training camps are fast approaching, last couple weeks of total freedom for NFL players and personnel. Be sure to get the latest fantasy crime news right here. Take care everybody.

Jets in holding pattern at 1st place, Vikings on the board, 49ers & Packers jump in standings.

Well folks, there have been 2 arrests, 1 formally charged, and 1 violating house arrest since the last update. We are getting into the home stretch of Fantasy Crime, weather is nice, training camps are a couple of weeks out, etc. Let’s get into them.

Green Bay Packers DL Letroy Guion

Early morning June 21, Mr. Guion was arrested in Hawaii for DUI after failing a breathalyzer. He has had previous run ins with the law and is currently suspended for 1st 4 games due to violating the NFL PED policy. Now he can say aloha to the personal conduct policy as well. 3 points for the DUI, 1 bonus point for it being his 30th birthday. I did hear from a Packer fan that he was snappin and having all these social media posts about partying haha. Do they not have taxi’s or ubers in Hawaii? Remember when the actors of ABC’s hit television show LOST got the axe after their DUI’s? Wonder if that will hold true here as well. 4 points for the Green Bay Packers.

New York Jets LB Lorenzo Mauldin
Assault (Misdmeanor)
Stemming from an incident at a nightclub on April 2, Mr. Mauldin was arrested after turning himself in on June 21 for misdemeanor assault. He allegedly punched another man after he accidentally spilled champagne on him. The victim had several facial injuries. Mr. Mauldin maintains his innocence and says it was someone else who attacked that man. 3 points for the Jets. J-E-T-S.

Former San Francisco 49ers CB Tramaine Brock **Arrested as 49er, charged as FA. still counts**
-Child Endangerment (Misdemeanor)
-Domestic Violence (Felony)
So from his April arrest that led to his release from the niners, earlier this month- Mr. Brock was formally charged with domestic violence and child endangerment. Allegedly there were multiple incidents where he punched/ attempted to strangle his girlfriend over disputes such as what to watch on television. One of these incidents involves the child, where she was holding their own kid in her arms. So the total points are 4 for felony domestic violence, 3 for child endangerment (counting it as putting someone directly in danger) +1 bonus point for domestic violence. 8 points total. I had awarded 2 points previously for this so it is 6 net points for the 49ers.

Minnesota Vikings WR Michael Floyd
-Violated house arrest terms
On 6/26, Mr. Floyd went to court as a result of failed breathalyzer tests while under house arrest. He maintained that it was because of kombucha tea, which was also encouraged by his employer- the Minnesota Vikings, who stood by their reciever. He was sentenced to 1 day in jail and had to serve the remaining 5 house arrest days in Arizona. 1 point for the Vikings.

Well the Jets remain in 1st place with 24 points. The Colts are 2nd place with 16 points. The Ravens are in 3rd place with 14 points. The 49ers jump to 4th place with 8 points. The Packers are right behind in 5th place with 7 points.  The Seahawks are 6th place with 6 points. Da Bears are tied in 8th place with the Denver Broncos, both with 5 points each. The Cowboys are in 9th place with 4 points. The Panthers and Giants are tied in 11th place with 3 points, as both have the arrest tier tiebreaker over the Redskins who are in 12th place. In 13th place are the Chargers with 2 points, holding the tiebreaker over the Cardinals  who are in 14th place. The Chiefs are in 15th place with also 2 points, as they are behind on the other tiebreaker ( less # of arrests). Lastly, rounding out the board tied for 17th place are the  Rams and Vikings both with 1 point. Summer is officially here and  a holiday weekend is upon us- the 4th of July. Please celebrate our country’s star spangled awesomeness safely.  Have a great rest of the week and be sure to get all the latest fantasy crime news right here. Take care.

Broncos and Giants are on the board with domestic violence (non-physical) and OVI arrests, respectively.

There has been 2 arrests since the last update. Hopefully you all had a great fathers day weekend, whether you got to spend some time with your old man, gave him a call, gifted him some BBB Z02’s (that way he knows youre a big baller) or simply remembered those dads/ father figures who unfortunately arent with us anymore.
Let’s get into those arrests.

Denver Broncos S Will Parks
Harrassment (misdemeanor)
Non physical domestic violence (Misdemeanor)

http://www.9news.com/sports/nfl/denver-broncos/mike-klis/broncos-will-parks-faces-misdemeanor-domestic-violence-charges/444955138

Earlier this year on March 24, police were dispatched to Mr Parks’ former girlfriends house where she had recently retrieved her stuff from Mr. Parks’ residence. Over the phone, Mr. Parks had threatened her and accused her of taking some of his belongings. The victim was visibly shaken and crying according to the arrest affidavit. One week later March 31- police interviewed Mr. Parks and later charged him with non physical domestic violence and harrassment. 3 points for non physicial domestic violence, 1 point capped for harrassment, 1 bonus point for domestic violence even if not physicial. 5 points for the Denver Broncos.

New York Giants WR Roger Lewis
OVI (Misdemeanor)

http://www.newsday.com/sports/football/giants/giants-roger-lewis-jr-charged-with-operating-vehicle-while-impaired-1.13709145

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/19547575/new-york-giants-wide-receiver-roger-lewis-was-arrested-sunday-charged-ovi

On 6/4, early sunday morning, Mr. Lewis was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while impaired in Ohio. He was also found with .2 grams of marijuana, which was taken into evidence. He was later released under his own recognizance and faced a 6/7 court date. The Giants are aware of the arrest, but made no further comment. Mr. Lewis is an Ohio native and 2nd year player for the Giants. He has faced legal trouble in the past- charged with 2 counts of rape in high school, but was acquitted on 1, plead down on the other and just finished his 3-yrs of probation. 3 points for the New York Giants, more points may come if they charge him for the small amount of pot.

Well the Jets remain in 1st place with 21 points. The Colts are 2nd place with 16 points. The Ravens are in 3rd place with 12 points. The Seahawks are 4th place with 6 points. Da Bears are tied in 6th place with the Denver Broncos, both with 5 points each. The Cowboys are in 7th place with 4 points. The Panthers and Giants are in 9th place with 3 points, as both have the arrest tier tiebreaker over the Packers and Redskins who are both in 11th place. In 12th place are the Chargers with 2 points, holding the tiebreaker over the Cardinals and 49ers, who are tied for 14th place. The Chiefs are in 15th place with also 2 points, as they are behind on the other tiebreaker ( less # of arrests). Lastly, rounding out the board in 16th place with 1 point is the Rams.

Cowboys are on the board with CB Carroll arrest for DWI

Hope you all are enjoying the short work week. There was 1 arrest since the last update. It belongs to America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Dallas Cowboys CB Nolan Carroll
-DWI (misdemeanor)

https://www.dallasnews.com/news/crime/2017/05/29/cowboys-cornerback-nolan-carroll-arrested-dwi-charge

On May 29 at 2:15 am, Mr. Carroll was arrested in Dallas following a traffic stop for DWI. Earlier that night, there was a welcome to Dallas party for Carroll at a nearby Dallas Nightclub- Sidebar, but police would not confirm if he was there prior to getting arrested. Mr. Carroll signed a 3 year deal earlier this year in March. The Cowboys do offer their players free uber rides, if they believe they are unable to drive safely. 3 points for the DUI, 1 bonus point for having it on the night of his “Welcome to Dallas” party. (The club’s IG post has been taken down haha) 4 points total for dem boys.

Jets remain in 1st place with 21 points. The Colts are 2nd place with 16 points. The Ravens are in 3rd place with 12 points. The Seahawks are 4th place with 6 points. Da Bears are in 5th place with 5 points. The Cowboys are in 6th place with 4 points. The Panthers are in 7th place with 3 points, have the arrest tier tiebreaker over the Packers and Redskins who are both in 9th place. In 10th place are the Chargers with 2 points, holding the tiebreaker over the Cardinals and 49ers, who are tied for 12th place. The Chiefs are in 13th place with also 2 points, as they are behind on the other tiebreaker ( less # of arrests). Lastly, rounding out the board in 14th place with 1 point is the Rams. Be sure to get all the latest Fantasy Crime League news right here. Take care.

Missed April Arrests- 49ers/Redskins/Cardinals/Seahawks

After doing some internal review, just realized that last month, the arrests of the San Francisco 49ers,Washington Redskins, Arizona Cardinals, and Seattle Seahawks were inadvertently left off during the month of April. We apologize for the error. Let’s review.

Seattle Seahawks QB Trevone Boykin
-Violation of Probation

Seahawks QB Trevone Boykin arrested on warrant for probation violation

From the last arrest where Mr. Boykin was a passenger in a car that hit a bar, his reputation he continues to mar. I saw this one coming from afar, he violated his probation- so he was arrested on a warrant.
This is a separate crime. One point for the violation which is one point total for the Seattle Seahawks.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marquis Bundy
disorderly conduct (misdemeanor)
failure to obey a police officer (misdemeanor)

https://arizonasports.com/story/1081134/cardinals-receiver-marquis-bundy-arrested-scottsdale/

Early Saturday morning April 1, Mr. Bundy was arrested by Scottsdale police after an incident at International Nightclub originating from his lost hat. He was involved in a scuffle and the officers asked him several times to calm down, after he did not, Mr. Bundy was arrested for disorderly conduct and failure to obey a police officer. He was booked and later released. The Cardinals are aware of the arrest and deferring to the NFL for the personal conduct policy. No word on if he recovered his hat. 1 point each for the misdemeanors, 2 points total for the cardinals.

Washington Redskins LB Junior Galette
-Disorderly conduct (misdemeanor)
-Failure to comply with police officer (misdemeanor)

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000799041/article/redskins-lb-junior-galette-arrested-in-biloxi-miss

On Friday night, April 7, Mr. Galette was arrested in Mississippi after he allegedly got into a fight outside a concert at MGM Park. Once police arrived, he ran after being told to stop, and was also tasered in the process. He was booked and released on disorderly conduct and failure to comply with police officer. The skins are aware of the arrest and have no further comment. 1 point a piece for the charges and taser bonus. 3 points for the Washington Redskins.

Now Former San Francisco 49ers CB Tramaine Brock
-Suspicion of Domestic Violence (Felony)

http://santaclaraca.gov/Home/Components/News/News/6161/95?backlist=%2fgovernment%2fdepartments%2fpolice-department
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/49ers-cut-starting-corner-after-hes-arrested-on-suspicion-of-domestic-violence/
http://www.espn.com/blog/san-francisco-49ers/post/_/id/24364/even-if-unintended-49ers-new-regime-sent-message-with-tramaine-brocks-swift-release

On Thursday April 6th, in the evening, Mr. Brock was arrested after authorities responded to a domestic violence call. The female victim, who he was in a relationship with, was found at the scene to have visible injuries. He was booked and later released on Friday morning, also the 49ers released Mr. Brock that afternoon as well. Now I have looked at several sources, can’t seem to find one that says definitively he was charged, the investigation is still on going. I have reached out to Santa Clara PD on twitter to confirm, but have not heard anything. So for now, 1 arrest point, and 1 bonus point for the boot within the 24 hour time frame. Although he has been released, if he does get charged, it will be as a 49er since he was on the roster at the time of the alleged incident.
Yes, this is being treated differently than the Greene indictment, but only because the legal process (arrest) began with him being a 49er and it was during the off-season.

We have been searching through news outlets (not FAKE NEWS) for updates that states he was charged, if he is, then the points will go through.
http://www.scscourt.org/court_divisions/criminal/index_search.asp I can’t find his case on the Santa Clara County Criminal Index, but not sure how often they update it.

Jets remain in 1st place with 21 points. The Colts are 2nd place with 16 points. The Ravens are in 3rd place with 12 points. The Seahawks jump to 4th place with 6 points. Da Bears are in 5th place with 5 points. The Panthers are in 6th place with 3 points, have the arrest tier tiebreaker over the Packers and Redskins who are both in 8th place. In 9th place are the Chargers with 2 points, holding the tiebreaker over the Cardinals and 49ers, who are tied for 11th place. The Chiefs are in 12th place with also 2 points, as they are behind on the other tiebreaker ( less # of arrests). Lastly, rounding out the board in 13h place with 1 point is the Rams.
Hope you all may forgive this transgression. Take care everyone, please be sure to get your latest fantasy crime news right here!

NY Jets ascend to take sole possession of 1st Place. KC Chiefs get an indictment point.

Since the last update, there has been 1 arrest and 1 indictment that doesnt count unfortunately. Let’s get into it.

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson
-Obstruction of Justice (Misdemeanor Miami Ordinance)
-Resisting Arrest with Violence (Felony)

http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2017/05/cop_who_arrested_jets_robby_anderson_has_checkered.html

On Sunday May 7, Mr. Anderson was arrested at the Rolling Loud Music Festival for allegedly fighting with security after being asked to leave. The cop who arrested Mr. Anderson, has had previous run-ins with NFLers and been accused of using excessive force. Mr. Anderson was charged with Resisting arrest with violence and obstruction of a police officer.
4 points for the felony resisting, 1 point capped for obstruction as it is in the same realm. Despite being at the Rolling Loud Festival he was not found to have any molly or loud on him, so that’s a positive at least. 5 points for the J-E-T-E Jets jets jets.

Now Free Agent LB Khaseem Greene
-Unlawful Gun Possession

http://www.nj.com/union/index.ssf/2017/05/nfl_player_indicted_for_role_in_elizabeth_shooting.html#incart_2box_nj-homepage-featured

Okay, so a former KC Chiefs player – Khaseem Greene (Also a 2013 bears draft pick and Schiano man as well!) was indicted on unlawful gun possession on May 9th, stemming from a December 2016 NJ shooting, and he was released by the team after. However, Mr. Greene was initially charged with same offense on January 4th, 2017. So looking at the NJ Criminal Procedure website and speaking with the reporter who has read the court documentation, it seems that this is the same charge, but has made it’s way down the process further while he was on the Chiefs roster. I believe the indictment came down after the co-defendant testified that Mr. Greene did give him said gun. Also only felonious type offenses are indictable, and this is one of them. So he was charged in January as a Free Agent and before the FCL season, but the DA brought the case to a grand jury during the FCL season, as a KC Chief to further process the charge.

So unfortunately, I will not be awarding the full points, but rather just 1 indictment point, similar to an arrest that doesn’t result in a charge. I am not an attorney, but I have reached out to lawyers/legal experts and their recommendations were in line with this thinking.

http://www.newjersey-legal-guide.com/New-Jersey-Criminal-Procedure.html

Well the Jets are now in sole possession of 1st place with 21 points. The Colts fall to 2nd place with 16 points. The Ravens are in 3rd place with 12 points. The Seahawks are in 4th place with 5 points and hold the tiebreaker over the Bears in 5th place with also 5 points due to the higher arrest tier charge. Tied for 7th place are the Packers and Panthers each with 3 points. In 8th place are the Chargers with 2 points. The Chiefs are in 9th place with also 2 points. In 10th place, on the board with 1 point is the Rams. It is Memorial Day weekend coming up, which means honoring our fallen servicemen and women and it is the unofficial start of summer. There typically is some FCL action over the long weekend, so please take care everyone let’s leave the alleged criminal activity to the league.

Carolina Panthers get on the board with an assault citation in smashville.

Well, the NFL draft has come and gone, did you team pick up a future FCL all star? Much like NFL success, only time will tell. Not much activity in the FCL world, there has been 1 citation since the last update. I thought maybe 49ers GM John Lynch being investigated for ROBBERY of da bears, but it is not robbery if it was agreed to.

Carolina Panthers OL Michael Oher
-Assault(misdemeanor)

Last month, April 14, Mr. Oher was cited for assault after an incident involving an uber ride in Nashville where Mr. Oher allegedly knocked the uber driver to the ground and kicked him. He was later restrained by the other passengers. He has a notice to appear in court in Davidson County on May 8, today. The Panthers are aware of the arrest and had no further comment.
